During the episode for UFC 293, which saw Sean Strickland defeat Israel Adesanya in a shock unanimous decision victory, Rogan and his guests got to talking about foxes. Rogan revealed that his yard in his Texas home has been infested by foxes. He said that he liked foxes as they are smart and sweet animals, but might have to kill them to protect the chickens he keeps and as his dog is attracted to their leavings.
“Foxes aren’t crazy at all. They’re real sweet. They’re in my yard all the time now because I have chickens. I’m gonna have to kill some foxes. I’m really sad about that cause I like them. And my dog rolls in their sh**. It’s the most depressing thing,” the Boston native said.
He described how his dog rolled in the foxes’ excrement in the yard, and then refused to let Rogan wash it off when they went inside, compelling the UFC commentator to roll him over to wash him.
I let him out the other night. And then I see him sniff around this one spot and drops. And I was like ‘Nooooo! Now I know I gotta wash and clean it and when I got inside he didn’t want me to clean it… And I’m like ‘that’s good crap, bro. So gross’… I have to roll him over and wash it off,” Rogan said.

Rogan, it seems couldn’t catch a break. First, he has to kill some lovely foxes, with a heavy heart, to protect his chickens and dog. And then he missed out on witnessing what is probably the biggest upset in UFC history. But, perhaps, having the biggest podcast in the world and commentating on his favorite sport might be some small consolation.
