There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the return of Conor McGregor. ‘The Notorious’ hasn’t fought in over two years, as recently he mentioned that he’ll return to the Octagon in December. However, in a recent voice clip posted on X (formerly Twitter), the Irishman sent a plea to Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel to make his return a possibility.

A few weeks ago, Conor McGregor laid out a three-fight plan against Michael Chandler, Justin Gaethje, and Nate Diaz in the foreseeable future. However, the exclusion from the USADA’s testing pool has made it difficult for him to get back inside the cage to fight. Amidst this drug-testing fiasco, the former UFC double champion has expressed his frustration over the issue on social media.

‘The Notorious’ claimed to have healed from his serious leg injury and is craving to get back inside the Octagon. Moreover, he claims to be ready to fight again and mentioned that he wants to come back on the last pay-per-view of the year. McGregor said, “I’m ready, yeah? I’m ready. I wanted and announced December 16th [and] I have given everything.”

However, the chances of his return this year seem highly unlikely. Regardless of the uncertainty, Conor McGregor claims to be the one who holds the power. Furthermore, he also said that he’s going to keep doing what he’s been doing during his time out of action. “It’s not gonna happen. It doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen. But anyway, I hold the power, yeah? I’m just gonna keep doing me thing.” In addition to that, the Irishman even sent a request to the CEO of Endeavor.

‘The Notorious’ sends a request to Ari Emanuel

Conor McGregor claims to be in a great spot in his life and mentioned that if he can’t fight this year, he’ll surely fight in the first half of 2024. However, he sounded desperate to get back inside the Octagon. The former champion even sent an appeal for help to the Endeavor CEO, Ari Emanuel, who often refrains from getting involved with the UFC’s business. McGregor said, “Please God, someone. Ari, Ari, my man. I am ready, yeah? December 16th.”

The Irishman even called for former USADA executive director, Bob Bennett, to come out of retirement and help his case. Incidentally, McGregor was unaware of the fact that Bennett had retired from his role on the commission. He further added, “Ring Bob Bennett. Tell the commission what’s the story because I’m being kept from my livelihood here. And turns out Bob’s retired and I’m like, ‘What the f***!'”
