Sean Strickland has made it to the headlines, but it’s not for the right reasons. The Anaheim resident has found himself in a scuffle on numerous occasions and there were times when there were firearms involved. This time again the mixed martial artist found himself in troubled waters as a perpetrator brandished a gun and threatened Strickland with it, during a road rage incident.

Needless to say, ‘Tarzan’ and the perp exchanged a few heated words and Strickland happened to capture it all on camera. In the video, the Californian fighter can be heard saying, “You call me a p***y but you don’t fight. You’re from the South. You’re telling me I’m a p***y but-” As soon as the man in the other car pulled out a gun, Strickland said, “So, you got a gun? Is that all we got? I will match that right now. Show me. I’ll match it. I’ll fight you for it.”

But the perp didn’t seem to submit to the #1 ranked UFC middleweight and threatened him instead. He said, “Fight me for it, I’ll shoot you for it!” Nevertheless, Strickland didn’t want to escalate the situation and tried to calm everything down. With the video nearing its end, ‘Tarzan’ can be heard saying, “Come on, bro! Why we gotta do that, bro? Why we gotta do that?”

Thankfully, the situation seemed to have calmed down without anything regrettable happening. But this was definitely not the first time Strickland was involved in cases with loaded guns. Let’s take a look at his previous encounter with a man trespassing on Strickland’s property. However, this time, it was the MMA fighter holding the gun.

The time when Sean Strickland held a trespasser at gunpoint

Back in November 2023, Strickland took to Instagram and shared a video of an altercation. The video showed the UFC P4P #6 pulling out a handgun against a trespasser. In the captions, he pointed out that the man was harassing a girl when a security guard saw it and followed him up in a car chase. The perp tore off his car’s tire in a curb and jumped out of his vehicle to hide in Strickland’s property and tried to steal his car. This was indeed the one mistake he shouldn’t have made.

The man was later arrested and Strickland garnered quite a bit of attention from the incident. It does seem like trouble follows everywhere ‘Tarzan’ goes. But this time, He did try to calm the situation down instead of firing away at the perp.
