The boxing debut of MMA star Nate Diaz didn’t end up in the winning column a few weeks ago. Debuting against Youtuber Jake Paul, many fight fans were rooting for him. However, he lost to the Youtuber via unanimous decision. Although the former UFC fighter had his fair share of hyped moments in the match, Paul easily went past the MMA star. Paul even secured a knockdown during the match.

Among the people who didn’t like this fight was Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, a friend of Conor McGregor. Eddie Hearn wasn’t impressed by the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz fight. The boxing promoter harshly criticized Nate’s boxing debut against Jake Paul. He even called Nate’s boxing skills ‘low level,’ in terms of standards.

Nate didn’t take the criticism well. And the MMA star has called out the 44-year-old promoter.

Nate Diaz responds to Hearn’s evaluation on social media

Nate Diaz, in his usual fashion, has called out Hearn over social media. The MMA star, in a recent tweet, addressed Hearn’s evaluation of the fight, especially Nate’s boxing skills. In his tweet, Nate stated, “Eddie Hearn I’ll beat all ur fighters as*es,” highlighting the fighter his promotion manages, “Lightweight middleweight Heavyweights any weight all of them will get f*cked up.”

Diaz warned Hearn to refrain from mentioning his name, else the promoter would also get beat by him. “And unless it’s complimentary keep my name outta your mouth cause u might get it also,” stated Nate in his tweet.

Hearn’s comment on Diaz: “Low level in terms of standard”

A few days ago, Eddie Hearn appeared on ‘The MMA Hour Show with Ariel Helwani,’ and discussed the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz match. Hearn cited Paul’s lack of boxing knowledge pertaining to breaking a fighter in the ring for Nate not getting stopped. Hearn stated, “Jake doesn’t know how to break a fighter down, cut off the ring, beat him up, and stop him.”

The promoter gave props to Nate’s toughness and said, “I give my props to Nate – super tough. But you’re talking about low, low level in terms of standard,” implying Nate’s boxing skills are at a low level.

Nate has hinted at a return to the square circle before possibly returning to the UFC. His boxing debut came right after getting released from the UFC last year. In his last UFC fight, the MMA star defeated Tony Ferguson in the UFC 279 main event.
