The Irish athlete has had some of the biggest fights in the UFC. One such bout saw him share the cage with ex-UFC champion Eddie Alvarez in 2016 at UFC 205. After defeating him through a T/KO, McGregor became the first simultaneous UFC double champ.

As ‘The Notorious’ was already the featherweight champion at that point, he made history by becoming the lightweight champion.

‘The Notorious’ shared a small clip of his fight against Alvarez on Twitter. The video quoted McGregor and read, “I always aim for peace, but if you can’t aim for peace, aim between the eyes.”

The seven-second clip showed Conor McGregor punching Eddie Alvarez in the face.

‘The Notorious One’, who was previously on social welfare, was clearly agitated by the jab. However, he has been one of the highest-paid athletes in the sport of mixed martial arts.
