“If [Sylvester] Stallone Showed Up at the Grammy’s With a Face Like That”: Joe Rogan Denies “Misogyny” for Backlash About Madonna’s “Plastic” Face

Award functions like the Grammy awards show celebrities in a different light. However, not every look can be appreciated by the public. One such instance happened with Joe Rogan and Madonna. In the recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, the podcaster revealed his dislike of plastic surgeries. Although the UFC color commentator previously admitted to having a crush on the singer when he was in school, he said that he was scared now. The talks took a turn towards social arguments when the guest of the episode, Ryan Long, introduced accusations of misogyny when people talked about women’s faces.

However, Rogan was quick to tackle it and compared Madonna’s Grammy look with that of Sylver Stallone. Nevertheless, the concept of plastic surgery to enhance a person’s face didn’t sit well with Rogan.

Joe Rogan doesn’t like plastic surgery faces

In episode #1944 of JRE, Rogan, and Long stumbled upon the topic of plastic surgery. The talks began with Long poking Rogan by saying that Madonna looked good. Without a doubt, the podcaster took the bait and revealed how he disliked it and found it scary. He said, “Bro, what is going on? It’s so scary. Someone needs to talk to her. Someone needs to talk to everybody is like turning their face into a kabuki mask.”

Continuing on the same subject, Rogan said, “There’s this thing that happens where they get these really puffy face, cause they’re injecting with fillers, trying to get away all the wrinkles and lines. And it makes them look like you’re bruised up. It looks bruised up.”

Then, Long talked about a show (Cosmos) that questioned why people were still discussing women’s faces in 2023. Undeniably, the 55-year-old stood up to defend the world and put forth his thoughts.

Rogan said, “Do you think that if [Sylvester] Stallone showed up at The Grammy’s with a face like that, people wouldn’t freak out? Do you think, do you really think that has anything to do with misogyny? Just to say this is so crazy. Whoever’s ‘are we really talking about women’s faces’. No, we’re talking about human beings and plastic surgery. What the f**k are you talking about? If you’re a woman, you’re exempt from the world seeing this and discussing it?”

Madonna: Joe Rogan’s high crush 

In a previous JRE episode, the beloved commentator revealed that he had a crush on Madonna. He reasoned that the singer was ‘hot as f**k’. Without a doubt, many in the world shared the same emotion. 

Although the singer was once attractive, her appearance at the Grammy awards seemingly changed people’s minds. However, Madonna’s voice still rocks the world of music.
