Rogan shared his post-divorce plan with his guests on JRE episode 1926. McCusker described divorce as a ‘miserable endavour’ and said it “sucks even if you’re not losing money”. Gillis chimed in, saying that’s when he and McCusker met. He said it was nice to be there for McCusker during his divorce.
Rogan said, “Bro if my wife ever leaves, I’m buying a ranch and inviting everybody to live there … I’ll buy a giant chunk of land and I’ll build everybody a house.”
McCusker then shared that he moved from a marriage into a house with five comedians. He said he lived on an air mattress for two years and would return it to Walmart every time it deflated to get a new one.
Divorce knockout: Rogan compares to being head kicked by Leon Edwards
Rogan further asked McCusker about his experience with divorce. McCusker said it was not easy, but it was a relief not to have kids. Joe Rogan then asked if McCusker had to go through ‘financial bullsh*t’.
He said, “I have watched some people get drained. Watched like rich dudes get drained and you see them go from not having to worry about anything to like, oh sh*t. Like how am I going to cover my bills.”
“I’ve seen that. I’ve seen that multiple times, man. I’ve seen guys get ‘HIT’ in divorce, ‘HIT’. Just like Leon Edwards in the head. Boom, get stiffened up,” he further added.
McCusker replied he didn’t have any money. Post that, the UFC commentator quickly compared divorces to getting kicked in the head by Leon Edwards. What do you think about the comparison Rogan made?
