Sean Strickland is all set to face Uriah Hall at the UFC Vegas 33 event. Strickland is coming into this fight on the back of 4 consecutive victories. The fighter last lost a UFC fight back in 2018 and will look to continue his winning momentum.

Recently many UFC fighters like Chris Weidman and Conor McGregor have suffered some gruesome injuries inside the Octagon. During a recent interview, with TMZ sports they asked Strickland what would he feel if something like that happened to him or his opponent.

To this, Strickland gave a reply that surprised everyone. He said, “If I killed somebody in the ring, it’d f****ing make me very happy.”

The interview then went on to ask Strickland if he really meant it. Strickland replied, “Oh, I love it. Absolutely. But, I’m okay, I accept that. Like, if Uriah hits me and maybe I have a brain aneurysm and die, you’ll hear me saying, ‘I’m okay, that’s a good death.”

“We’re all going to die sometime. You know, might as well end in a good way. We’re all going to the same place, man. It’s either gonna be then or now. Just enjoy it.”

While Strickland’s views shocked many fans, the fighter clearly seems to believe in them.

Hall is 37 years old and many believe this latest push is his last chance to challenge for the title. While Strickland is relatively young and still has many years of top-level MMA left in him.
