It seems Conor McGregor is as amazed as the rest of the fans from his recent BKFC appearance. While the spotlight is a familiar place for McGregor, even he could not have expected to get in the ring and face off with the winner when he rolled in for BKFC 41. But that is what happened after Mike Perry beat former UFC and Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold in their bare-knuckle boxing bout.

Now the former UFC double champion has written a lengthy social media post addressing the events at BKFC 41 and assessing his love for the fight game.

Conor McGregor on a potential BKFC fight

In the IG post, Conor McGregor wrote, “Call me “slicey” bare paw. Styles make fights. As well as rulesets. As well as everything. If you are scared go to church.” He continued, “I was called into the bare knuckle ring last night. I fear nothing. No man that breathes air. I only fear God and abide by God and if God guides me to a professional bare knuckle fight in my time for my new world title, I do. Great night last night.”

Speaking of the fights at BKFC 41, he gave a shout-out to his former opponents Chad Mendes and Eddie Alvarez who competed last night. The former double champion also gave the fans something to think about- “Think about that for a second. Understand that as fans what fighting is. Take note of it. What fighting is, is a new day every day. Every fight with every person on every given day. Is different. It’s why I love it so much. It’s why I respect it so much.”

For a star like McGregor, several options are always on the table. While he has a reputation as a skilled boxer, do you think McGregor has what it takes to fight bare knuckle?
