Ian Garry and Colby Covington’s feud has taken a new turn. The two welterweights have been involved in an online back-and-forth that has seen them take shots at each other on social media and in interviews. ‘Chaos’ had released a video that demanded specific conditions from Garry and his wife, Layla, sparking outrage amongst the fans and prompting the Irishman to retaliate with a challenge of his own.
‘The Future’ posted a video on X in response, where he challenged Covington to an “I Quit” match, citing Covington’s derogatory remarks about his wife and recent performances in the division. However, there has been no response from Covington as of now, and with UFC 303’s co-main event now set, Garry has once again taken to social media to take shots at ‘Chaos’!

At UFC 303, Conor McGregor will be making his long-awaited return to the Octagon against Michael Chandler. The co-main for the card is being reported to be a light heavyweight clash between Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree, however, it hasn’t sat well with Ian Garry.
In response to the news, Garry posted the following caption on his Instagram account, possibly hinting that his fight against Colby Covington may still be on the table as the co-main event at UFC 303. He shared, “When I read the news and see something ain’t right – I’ll be co-main mark my words #UFC 303”
The Irishman also shared a picture of private DMs he had sent to Colby Covington demanding that ‘Chaos’ accept the fight against Garry and settle the ‘beef’ inside the Octagon. He posted, “Stop being a p**sy your foot is fine. Agree to the fight. You can’t talk all that sh*t and not back it up COWARD”

It’s interesting to note that while Covington had laid down multiple stipulations for accepting a fight against Garry, the response from Garry proposed that the loser of the match would be forced to retire from fighting, adding an unusual twist to the confrontation.
Despite the inflammatory nature of the feud, Covington has yet to respond to Garry’s challenge, leaving fans eager to see how the rivalry unfolds in the coming days. And in another video shared earlier this month on Instagram, ‘The Future’ revealed that the fight is being delayed due to Covington’s reluctance.

UFC 303 has made headlines with the highly anticipated return of Conor McGregor, who will face Michael Chandler in the main event. There were also rumors of a potential showdown between Ian Garry and Colby Covington, continuing the USA vs. Ireland theme, but no official announcement has been made so far.
However, in a post shared on Instagram on April 9, Garry claimed, “I just wanna let everyone know I have agreed to fight with Colby Covington. There is a date in place. Colby still hasn’t signed the contract.”
