$500 million-worth Dana White did not grow up with a silver spoon. He grew up with a single mother and his father was an alcoholic. Although he does not like to talk about his parents much, he recently revealed how his relationship with them affected him later in his life.

The 54-year-old CEO of the UFC mentioned that his experiences with his father and his mother certainly helped to shape his life. It made him the man he is today in more ways than one. Dana White told Piers Morgan, “My relationship with my parents has definitely made me who I am today in many different ways.”
Furthermore, he also mentioned that the changes did not take place just in his professional career as a businessman. It also had an effect on his personal life and the way he parented his three children. “Not just in life and business, but as a father, too.” Moreover, he does not regret anything about his past. Dana White is proud of it.

Dana White seemed a little hesitant to speak much about his parents and childhood. However, he made sure to tell Piers Morgan about the fact that if he had a chance to change his upbringing, he wouldn’t ever do that. It taught him more lessons than he can then he can tell. The 54-year-old further stated, “I wouldn’t change my upbringing. Not one thing about it. I wouldn’t change any of it.”

Moreover, Dana White also spoke about how his parents taught him about the things he should never do as a parent. He believes that his experiences during childhood made him a better father to all of his three children. “A 100 percent [on becoming a better father]. my parents taught me a lot about what I didn’t want to be as a parent,” The UFC CEO added.
