Conor McGregor is 39 days away from making what probably will be the biggest UFC return of all time, after almost three years. But ‘The Notorious’ is back at it again! He’s trashed other fighters in the past, and this time, he went straight for former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman during a live stream. Amidst that, a video clip from ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’s JRE appearance has popped up where Usman is seen sharing his prediction regarding a fight against McGregor.

It was four years ago when Joe Rogan got Kamaru Usman talking about a Conor McGregor fight. Well, for starters, the former 170-pound champion doesn’t think it would be wise for ‘The Notorious’ to step inside the cage with him. Usman claimed that McGregor just doesn’t have a chance, regardless of how well he can strike.

“Can you imagine me fighting Conor? Like that wouldn’t even be fair… Everyone has a puncher’s chance. But it would not be fair,” Kamaru Usman stated. The Khabib Nurmagomedov fight was all Kamaru Usman needed to predict that bad things would happen to Conor McGregor if they ever got pitted against each other.

Kamaru Usman continued, “You saw what Khabib did to him at ’55. Now, imagine me doing that to him at ’70 and I’m not just going to take him down. I’m gonna march forward, I’m gonna hit this guy… I would do some bad things to Conor.”

Interestingly, there’s no beef between these two former champions because Usman doesn’t seem to hate ‘The Notorious’. “It’s not that I don’t like the guy. Conor’s Conor,” ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ added. But what did Conor McGregor say that has been making social media rounds? Well, let’s have a look at that then.

Usman’s a “b*m,” according to the former double champion

Conor McGregor’s back in the 170-pound weight class and yes, his comeback fight against Michael Chandler will be a welterweight bout. As such, why not play matchmaking for some possible welterweight encounters for the Irishman? This led fans to ask McGregor about his thoughts on Kamaru Usman during a livestream recently. Well, the former double champion had some unsavory words for ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, who’s arguably one of the best, if not the best, 170-pounders of all time.

In response to the fan, Conor McGregor replied, “Osman, Osman [Usman]. They can’t even spell your name, lad. Osman is talking crazy right now. Where’s Osman? That little bald little Malteser head… Who’s Usman? Kamaru Usman? F*** him. F*** Kamaru Usman. He’s a b*m. Don’t give a f*** about Usman, yeah?” Is this enough for Dana White to make a case for a potential match down the line? We don’t know that yet.

Conor McGregor, as he mentioned himself, has only a couple of fights left on his UFC contract and the promotion is certain to make the most of it. But will it be Kamaru Usman taking on the Irishman next? It depends on how Dana White navigates this situation.
