The rivalry between Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou might still have a chance to be settled. The former UFC heavyweight champion walked out of the UFC days before Jones’ return was announced. Undeniably, this left the fans dissatisfied because a fight between ‘Bones’ and ‘The Predator’ was among the most anticipated fights. However, after Jones won the title of heavyweight champion by defeating Ciryl Gane at UFC 285, comments were made that Ngannou was running away from Jones. Even the current heavyweight champion said that Ngannou wasn’t ‘willing to gamble on himself’ and this rubbed the former champion the wrong way.
Nevertheless, the Cameroonian recently responded to those comments and declared that he wasn’t running away from anything. He revealed that he would be ready to fight Jones anytime.

Ngannou said, “There’s not a fight in this world that I’d back down for. I don’t care. I go there, and whatever happen, happen. It’s the sport. And definitely, Jon Jones is not a guy. I mean, he might be the best fighter ever, but he’s not the guy that I’m running from. No, not him.” Furthermore, he declared, “I will fight Jon Jones twice a month.”
The Cameroonian warrior walked out of the UFC as a free agent. There were rumors of the fighter turning to boxing. He was also spotted training with impressive skills. However, his fight with Jones is still one of the highly anticipated ones.

Recently, ‘MM Arena’ took to Twitter and asked ‘Bones’ if he would ever fight against Ngannou in the near future. The fan seemingly emphasized whether the fight was possible with the former heavyweight champion, but Jones gave a sharp reply, which Ngannou wouldn’t like.
I highly doubt it, especially after that first performance. Like I said the dude left for a reason. Came up with every demand and request in the world. He knew that UFC wasn’t going to bend, he found his way out https://t.co/dxgr6D5v8g

‘Bones’ believed that the possibility was really low. He insinuated that Ngannou left so the two fighters wouldn’t come face-to-face in the octagon. Do you think Ngannou would have been able to put ‘Bones’ away if they ever fought?
