Joe Rogan never shies away from having a dialogue about difficult topics. The JRE host has strong opinions on things, but he always has been open to listening to opposing arguments. People, however, have often called him a ‘conservative’ and the Spotify podcaster fired back at them in a recent episode of the famed JRE podcast. What did he say?

On his podcast (JRE #1846) Rogan had comedian-actor, Andrew Schulz, as a guest. These two had a discussion about transgender rights, where Rogan pointed out that trans people are getting some resistance to marriage in the United States. He added, “That’s the kind of sh** that keeps me from being a Republican.”

The former Fear Factor host went on a rant and said, “People will say like ‘oh you know you’re a secret conservative’ like you could suck my d***. You don’t know what the f*** you’re talking about. I’m so far away from being a Republican.”

He also added, “Just because I believe in the second amendment and just because I support the military and just because I support police. Like, I was on welfare as a kid. I think it’s important. I think having a social safety net is crucial.”

Rogan talked about people helping each other as they are a part of a ‘one big community’. Further, he called himself a ‘bleeding heart liberal’ while dealing with a ‘lot of sh**’ in life. Besides this, he shut down on what he believed was an absurd conclusion.

Joe Rogan rips off claims about why he moved to Taxes

The JRE host has lived in various parts of the United States. The New Jersey-born spent several years in California before moving to Texas in 2020. Many speculated why Rogan made the change and came to a certain conclusion. However, the JRE host blasted those conclusions in his recent conversation with Andrew Schulz.

After revealing a ‘conservative side’ of him, Rogan said, “I’m not a person who wants to keep all my money and not pay taxes. Like people have accused me of moving to Texas because I didn’t want to pay taxes. No, I moved to Texas because I want f***ing freedom.”
