The Hollywood star, who tries to come up with a story that touches hearts, lauded the comedian for forming an emotional bond with the audience in the 2023 project. The martial artist-turned-actor became a household name with his portrayal of Mike Tyson in a 1995 HBO film, ‘Tyson’. The action film star sat down with DJ Vlad in an interview. Amusingly, the host pointed out that White’s recent movie, ‘A Snowy Day in Oakland’, had an anomaly when it comes to the title. He mentioned it never snows in Oakland and further noted one of the co-stars Dion Cole made an appearance with him just a little while back.

This sent the guest down memory lane and especially when he saw the movie in the theater. He then admitted the scene where Cole’s character, David, wraps up everything, and left the audience wailing.

White said, “Dion [Cole] did a great job. I was in the theater and people were crying because of Dion Cole. That scene man- he wraps everything else up and he did that. My brother, like, I had to call him on that one, that he did a great job.”

This is the kind of impact White wants to create with his movies, which he successfully did with ‘Black Dynamite’.

White tries to uplift people with his stories

Earlier in the conversation, he announced, while referring to ‘Black Dynamite’, how he wanted to depict a story that has occurred throughout history. Moreover, he focuses on telling in a unique way which offers some solutions.
