Jack Della Maddalena didn’t have an easy day in the office when he faced Kevin Holland at UFC Fight Night 228. The Australian fighter narrowly edged ‘Trailblazer’ to bag another win and also kept his winning streak in the UFC going. While he can now have his pick from the likes of Sean Brady, it seems he has something else in his mind.
Before the 27-year-old featured on the main card of UFC Noche, he had expressed his desire to face the undefeated welterweight, Shavkat Rakhmonov. However, the latest win has shifted something in his plans as he is ready to take on whoever the UFC throws at him.

Maddalena, during the post-event interview, spoke to the media and laid bare his future plans. While some speculated another big name on his tongue, he was just happy to fight before the end of next year. In addition, the welterweight fighter was open to entertaining any fight the UFC scheduled for him.
“I’m just, whoever. I want to fight before the end of the year and fight whoever,” the Aussie responded when asked about any names that came to his mind. However, he has wider options that include a match with Sean Brady, and Vicente Luque, who recently defeated Rafael dos Anjos.
“Honestly, all of them. Like, I’m not going to call one of them out. But like any one of them. If I got offered, the first one they offered me, I’ll probably just jump on it. And say let’s go. All those, they’re challenging fighters and exciting matchups,”
Despite previously expressing his desire to fight Shavkat Rakhmonov in the past, it appears he might have moved on from the lucrative fight. Has he or the fans can expect a banger of a fight from the two?
