Conor McGregor did not take it kindly when Jose Aldo called him a joker in 2015. It happened during the iconic Rio press conference in the build-up to UFC 189. Almost eight years hence, McGregor would probably still take offense at being called a joker, but he just proved he’s got a few jokes up his sleeve.

The UFC’s first simultaneous two-division champion has been on a hiatus since his injury in July 2021. While talks of his return are gaining traction, McGregor is currently shooting for his Hollywood debut. Recently, the Irishman tweeted a funny meme involving his co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Conor McGregor pokes fun at Jake Gyllenhaal

Conor McGregor is all set to make his Hollywood debut alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in Prime Video’s ‘Road House’. McGregor has been constantly flaunting it and providing updates from the set. ‘The Notorious‘ recently took to Twitter to share a joke aimed at his co-star, Gyllenhaal.

The joke is a pun on the name ‘McGregor.’ The meme template is from ‘The Simpsons’, a popular show that McGregor is a fan of. It showed ‘Prime Video’ explaining to a confused Jake Gyllenhaal that by ‘McGregor’ they meant Conor McGregor and not Hollywood actor Ewan McGregor.

Some fans responded to the tweet with memes of their own. While some shared their excitement for their favorite fighter, others asked ‘Mystic Mac’ about his role in the movie and its release date.

McGregor dropped a ‘Mystic Mac’ style prediction for Hollywood

With the shooting of his Hollywood debut movie progressing, the 34-year-old dropped a box office prediction. The Irishman gained a reputation in his fighting career with his accurate predictions of fights. He delivered on his predicted finishes on multiple occasions and earned the moniker ‘Mystic Mac.’

Now, with his Hollywood debut in sight, McGregor has made another prediction in his fabled style.

McGregor’s cocky confidence is one of his defining traits. He looks to be marching forward with the same confidence in his Hollywood venture as well. McGregor also tweeted about his return plans.

‘The Notorious’ said that he was feeling confident ahead of his return. He added he will be back as soon as the filming wrapped. McGregor also said he would have completed multiple fights by the time the movie was released.

Despite McGregor making these bold claims, he is yet to have a concrete return date. From getting back into the USADA pool and being cleared to fight, it could be a while before we see McGregor in action again.
