Although Conor McGregor stayed out of the Octagon in 2021, he didn’t stop striving to make his presence known to the world. ‘The Notorious’ and the Hollywood star, Jake Gyllenhaal, began the shoot for the remake of the classic movie, ‘Roadhouse’. Undeniably, with a debut in Hollywood, McGregor took over the headlines in the sporting community. However, the movie incorporates a scene where Gyllenhaal fights inside the octagon. The filming of the scene took place during the UFC 285. As expected, the actor fighting in the cage exploded through the internet.
Recently, in a conversation with Robbie Fox, ‘Mystic Mac’ shared some facts about Gyllenhaal’s fighting skills. Although he declared that the shots were good, he thought they weren’t technical enough. However, the fighter indeed enjoyed working with the Hollywood sensation.

Furthermore, the former UFC double champion opined that Gyllenhaal was, in fact, a great guy. Nevertheless, the fighter had nothing but good words for his Hollywood debut movie. “He’s a great, great guy. He was very patient with me, and I was very patient with him. We understood about our skill set and what we brought to the table. And a dear friend of mine now, Jake Gyllenhaal, is. We doing, we doing a great movie… I’m doing the best I could with what I had at my disposal,” said McGregor.
