Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s court trial has been a point of discussion for many fans. The same goes for famous Spotify podcaster Joe Rogan. He has discussed aspects of their proceedings several times and provided his point of view. However, in the newest episode #1812, Rogan and his guest, Doug Stanhope, discussed the case.

As Stanhope happens to be one of Depp’s close friends, it is not surprising that both the personalities discussed the raging topic. Back in the day, Stanhope had written an article on Depp and Heard’s relationship. As a result, Rogan got to speak to Depp on the phone.
Discussing the same, Rogan said, “We showed your article that you had written a bunch of years ago about Amber Heard blackmailing Johnny. And I remember you connected me to him on the phone and I talked to him on the phone.”

It looks like he was in Hawaii with his wife while on the call with the famous actor. Rogan explained, “I was drinking margaritas, and I got my wife. I’m holding the phone, ‘I’m on the phone with Johnny Depp’.”
The UFC commentator also confessed he had watched all their trials.

Rogan further went on today that Depp was a ‘nice guy’. Stanhope agreed with him and said that Depp was ‘one of the sweetest people’ he has ever met.

In a previous episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ with Brendan Schaub, Rogan spoke about his personal phone call with Johnny Depp. He also shed light on the close friendship the actor shared with late journalist Hunter Thompson.
In that particular episode, too, Rogan had nice things to say about Depp.
