Joe Rogan has been with the UFC for a long time. In fact, many can’t imagine fights getting called without him. While he commentates on US-based PPV events, many fans like to see his reactions when something big takes place in the Octagon. But in a new JRE episode, he joked about quitting commentary.

The podcaster was joined by Eddie Bravo, Bryan Callen, and Brendan Schaub for a discussion. At one point, they talked about boxing matches and Bravo brought up Vinny Pazienza and how he never landed a punch in one of his matches.
However, they were supposed to watch a clip of a fight on their screen and missed it because of their conversation. Rogan thus said, “We missed the whole fight. What happened? Was it a decision?”
Bravo confirmed it was a decision. Rogan laughed and said, “We are terrible at this. This is why we can’t be commentators.”
Bravo replied, “You gotta quit, no?”

To this, Rogan said, “I should quit. This is what I would do if they let me drink during the UFC.”
Post this discussion, Rogan and his guests went on to discuss veteran fighters Tim Kennedy and Michael Bisping’s old feud.
Will Joe Rogan quit the JRE podcast?
While Rogan might have joked about quitting the UFC, he was once quite serious about quitting his famous podcast. This came after the huge backlash his podcast received earlier this year. Spotify too had to take some heat.

Joe Rogan wanted creative control over his podcast and had a vision for it. He didn’t want the criticism to affect this. Thus, he once said he would quit the JRE if he had to change the way he runs it.
However, post the backlash, the MMA analyst has been regularly churning out new episodes. Hence, it doesn’t look like his podcast is in jeopardy. In addition to this, Spotify also introduced new features to combat misinformation.
