The wild incident at the 94th Oscars 2022 between Will Smith and Chris Rock reportedly inspired a similar attack on yet another comedian. Recently, Dave Chappelle found himself in the crosshair of an attacker, who tackled him to the ground. The veteran comedian was delivering a special performance in Los Angeles as a part of the ‘Netflix is a Joke’ series.

First to jump up on the stage to aid Chappelle was the famous Hollywood actor, and Comedian, Jamie Foxx. Joe Rogan feared something along this line would happen in the near future, and his prediction turned into reality. Right after, security also rushed to the center to restrain the attacker. The attacker was then quickly subdued, and it enabled Chappelle to chime in with a few jokes of his own.

Fortunately, nothing happened to Chappelle in this altercation, and Jamie Foxx made light of the incident days later. UFC Icon shared a clip of Foxx impersonating his dear friend with the most accurate impression anyone can do. Rogan shared the video on his Instagram and showered words of praise on the actor.
He said, “Here is @iamjamiefoxx doing the best @davechappelle impression you will ever hear in your life. Jamie has got to be one of the most talented motherf*ckers that’s ever walked the face of the earth. Dude can sing his a*s off, top-of-the-food chain actor, world-class stand-up comic, and wizard-level impressionist.
RESPECT!!!”
