In just about a month, fight fans will bear witness to one of the most highly anticipated rematches in recent UFC history as Israel Adesanya steps into the octagon once again with his fierce rival, Alex Pereira. The intensity of their long-standing feud has been fueled by the Brazilian’s consistent dominance over ‘The Stylebender’ in both kickboxing and MMA.
The fact that ‘Poatan’ has emerged victorious in both of their prior encounters has only added to the drama and excitement surrounding this upcoming showdown. As the date draws closer, speculation about the outcome is already rife, with fans and pundits alike weighing in with their own predictions, including Jon Jones. Making his return to the octagon after a long three-year hiatus this Saturday, ‘Jonny Bones’ has expressed his support for a clear winner in the Adesanya vs. Pereira rematch.

Jon Jones picking the Brazilian over the New Zealander could be due to the fact that the latter and himself have a bitter history of their own.

The New Zealander cited his own example at first but stated how he managed to steer clear from troubles unlike, he suggestively indicated, Jon Jones. “I’m living a crazy life, man. And it is crazy. I’m still learning. I’m still human, and I make mistakes. But, I never make the same mistake more than once. I learn from my mistakes. That’s the difference between me and all the people who end up on TMZ.”, said ‘The Stylebender’.
