A large chunk of UFC audiences anticipated the buildup of the UFC 293 main event to be a lot more interesting than the bout itself. Well, it may be agreed that the pre-fight incidents have disappointed the fans a single bit. The noted UFC Middleweight champ, Israel Adesanya has almost steamrolled the entire Middleweight division of the UFC. Hence, a large chunk of fans don’t see the #4 ranked Middleweight, Sean Strickland, as much of a threat to him. But Strickland’s brash and raw nature on the mic has often provided awesome entertainment to fans.
Strickland put out a display of this nature prior to his UFC 293 main event as well. ‘The Tarzan’ dissed Izzy for his racial remarks and taunted him for being Chinese. Although a large chunk of fans might have expected such words to make ‘Izzy’s’ blood boil, the ‘two-time UFC Middleweight champ’ gave out quite a shocking opinion about such words from Strickland.
Israel Adesanya was far from offended by the disses from Sean Strickland

Recently, Adesanya took to the pre-UFC 293 press conference where he found himself directed to a number of questions. One of them was also about the release of his coveted documentary, ‘Stylebender’. The reporter wanted to know about the to-date reception of ‘Izzy’s’ documentary by the audience. ‘The Last Stylebender’ answered this question pretty briefly saying, “It’s been dope”.
However, he also tried to link the documentary to his upcoming fight after revealing, “‘Stylebender’ documentary, coming soon, Australia and New Zealand on September 28th. After that soon to the streaming platforms”. Mentioning Strickland, Adesanya said, “Sean should watch it. He might learn something to be honest”.
Further, ‘the 34-year-old’ gave out the message that he intended to portray through his on-screen work. “What I want people to get from that documentary is that I’m not saying be like me. I’m just saying be like you”. ‘Izzy’ summed up everything as he said, “Be authentically you and don’t give a f**k what anyone else thinks.”
However, he contradicted his own words when he implied that Strickland already had the attitude that ‘Izzy’ wanted to promote through his documentary. He said, “I respect the fact that he expresses himself authentically and does not give a fuck what anyone thinks. I will respect that”. Well, taking a look at Sean Strickland’s UFC career and interviews about his fights, a large chunk of fans may be in good agreement with Adesanya.

Most UFC fans might know that the ‘real African’ debate between Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis had created massive headlines a few months back. Amidst all of this, ‘Izzy’ could’ve easily gotten offended by Strickland’s “Chinese sl*t” remarks.
In an interview with ‘The Schmo’ a few days back, ‘The Tarzan’ also stated, “winning the fight” against ‘Izzy’ was the “easy part” of the fight. He viewed building up the fight as the tougher task. These words could’ve easily got Adesanya enraged, but it was Strickland’s crude self-expression that pleased ‘The Last Stylebender’.
