Daniel Cormier is one of the most polarizing figures in the UFC commentary booth. Even after spending more than 6 years in the UFC commentary team, ‘DC’ gets a lot of criticism from the fans. Recently, the UFC commentator is accused of being bitter in the commentary booth during Jones’ fight. The former UFC double champion has responded to the tweet with one of his own.

The UFC commentator had been on the commentary team since 2016. However, the fans have a mixed reaction to the former UFC double champion. Some have accused him of favoritism and some have said that he is biased.

Cormier, given the person that he is, hasn’t been vocal to that extent regarding his image. However, this time he has reacted to a tweet by investor Shayne Williams.

Shane reacted to a video by UFC that showed the commentary booth’s reaction at the moment Jon Jones submitted Ciryl Gane. Daniel Cormier appeared to be shocked and confused, along with Joe Rogan. Jon Anik called the fight during those seconds as his partners were bewildered.

Daniel Cormier reacted to the tweet as he defended himself. The UFC commentator said, “Not bitter at all, legit couldn’t see what he had tapped to until we saw the different camera angle. You guys sure can create things. I really don’t care either way, I’m here to call fights only”.

The former UFC champion was having none of it, as he justified his situation. Moreover, the rivalry between Jones and Cormier has cooled down ever since they had an exchange over commentary stance.
