Chaos has engulfed Conor McGregor’s life in recent weeks, as he navigated courtroom battles and relentless media scrutiny. The Irish fighter recently lost a high-profile civil suit brought forth by 35-year-old Nikita Hand, who accused McGregor of s-xu-l a-sa-lt at a Dublin hotel on December 9th, 2018. The Dublin Civil Court ruled in Hand’s favor, ordering ‘Notorious’ to pay more than $250,000 in damages.

Since the ruling, Conor McGregor has faced immense backlash, marking a stark contrast to his once-dominant presence both inside and outside the Octagon. The fallout has been severe—business associates have severed ties, his brand has begun to collapse, and criticism from fans and fellow athletes on social media has been relentless. Despite the mounting pressure, the former two-division UFC champion chose to remain silent—until now.

Now, nearly a month later, Conor McGregor broke his silence with a lengthy post on X, offering both a cautionary message and advice to the younger generation. ‘Mystic Mac’ wrote: “I am telling you now, RECORD EVERYTHING! Place your phone on video record and place it down. Hear the audio. And not for sharing, as that is illegal, but for if ever you get arrested. It’s the only thing that will save you. Not CCTV before and after the fact.”

While maintaining his innocence, Conor McGregor acknowledged in court that he had a s-x-al encounter with Nikita Hand but insisted it was consensual. Frustrated with the justice system, he accused Hand of fabricating the case against him. Reflecting on the ordeal, the Irishman also revealed a second, lesser-known accusation against him. He went on to say: “After this accusation happened to me, and the lies that followed about me attempting to settle this, another allegation came shortly after. Only for CCTV to capture exactly that moment—had it not, I would be in jail right now.”

The Irishman also expressed his frustration with the Dublin police, claiming that they treated him unfairly and humiliated him during the process. He criticized the media for sensationalizing his situation, accusing them of exploiting his story for publicity. As he put it: “My car story sold to the paper—‘sports star again’ or something to that effect was the headline.”

Meanwhile, while major companies have severed ties with Conor McGregor, the stance of UFC boss Dana White remains uncertain, leaving fans questioning the future of the former two division champion’s UFC career. Will the UFC follow suit and cut ties with the fighter? For now, it seems unlikely. Recently, McGregor’s highly anticipated return to the UFC cage to face rising star Ilia Topuria had become a hot topic. Addressing the situation, Conor McGregor reassured fans that his return is still on the horizon. Let’s scroll to find out when ‘Notorious’ will come back.

Conor McGregor’s huge comeback update

This year marks the third anniversary of Conor McGregor’s absence from the octagon. Various factors, including his business ventures, Hollywood aspirations, and a lingering “pinkie‘” toe injury, have kept him from returning. However, ‘Notorious’ has left those distractions behind and, earlier this year, announced his planned return to the octagon in February of next year. With the Nikita Hand controversy now behind him, fight fans are eagerly anticipating his comeback.

As for the question of whether someone like Nikita Hand could truly halt Conor McGregor, known for his quick knockouts, it seems unlikely. Recently, the UFC star took to social media to clarify rumors about his return, revealing that it may not be in the octagon or cage as expected. Instead, he is reportedly in talks to face Logan Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, whom McGregor once referred to as a “little fool.”
