UFC fighters receiving online call-outs from fans is not exactly a common occurrence. Although it certainly takes place, professional fighters are smart enough to not pay heed to such random call-outs; considering they don’t usually have any benefits involved for the fighter itself. But number four-ranked Flyweight Brandon Royval seems to be one lucky individual. At least that’s what it appears to fans right now. The 30-year-old recently shared a screenshot of one such offer a fan proposed, which, surprisingly, had monetary gain involved for Royval. Considering some of his impressive performances inside the octagon, one can only question why a deal of such measure would even be proposed.

The screenshot, also shared by MMA outlet ‘MMA mania’ on Twitter, described a fight offer made by a fan to the flyweight fighter. Royval, while sharing it, asked his followers if he should go ahead with the deal. Interestingly, the fight also involved $2500 for him if he could pull off a win.

The DM shared by the 30-year-old revealed a fan proposing a fight for ‘Raw Dawg’ with one of his friends, who he claimed to be 6’4 and 210 lbs. He also claimed that ‘he’s never been in a fight before and has little to none training’. Moreover, he topped it off with a $2500 prize for the UFC fighter.

Royval clearly gave it some thought, or at least it appeared so, mentioning that he should check his DMs more often for such offers. He wrote: “Lol I need to check my DMs more…should I take this offer for some change.

Fans were definitely quick to point out that it was easy money for the fighter, despite the huge weight difference. Although whether Royval agrees to such a ridiculous deal is completely up to one’s imagination.

Quite a few of the fans wanted the fighter to take up the offer and make some easy bucks off it.

One fan even asked Royval to start with a leg kick.

With reports of complaints about fighter pay, this fan told him to take on the deal and even make a video.

Someone also told him to utilize his BJJ skills on him. Interestingly, Royval is a black belt and might be able to eradicate the said opponent in this case.

Despite being a professional and an elite fighter, some fans felt it was a bad idea.

Now whether Royval chooses to take on the unknown fighter and risk getting hurt is something that one can only wonder about right now. But from a technical perspective, he should be able to handle himself quite well, considering he is among the top flyweights in the world.
