The 32-year-old again turned to his widely followed Twitter handle as he urged the fans to stop bullying him on the selfie. Further, he clarified to fans “nothing happened”.

When the image gained traction, Ortega had an amusing tweet in the store. The featherweight fighter’s relationship with Cortez became public knowledge in 2020 and since then, the pair made various appearances together. The pair were also engaged at one point. But the pair soon ran into hiccups, as the rumors of their split turned the fans’ heads earlier this year. While the exact reason for their split is not known, the latest tweet by ‘T-City’ drops a clue.

In her tweet, the 10-1 record holder mentioned how she was yet to say anything negative about Ortega or put his name to shame. Therefore, she expected reciprocity from the American fighter.
