“I Love PFL” – Khabib Nurmagomedov Explains Why PFL Is a Great Platform for Fighters

Retired UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov has several teammates and friends in the MMA business. His teammate Movlid Khaybulaev (19-0-1) has been doing extremely well at PFL and was also named the PFL season MVP in the year 2021. Further, when he became the PFL featherweight world champion, ‘The Eagle’ was happy and congratulated his dear friend.

In a new video on Khabib’s YouTube channel, he was seen talking about Khaybulaev’s fighting skills as well as how good of a promotion PFL is. He spoke about the advantages of fighting for the promotion.

Speaking about what he expects from Khaybulaev, Khabib said, “Become one of the best fighter in the world and make money because PFL let for young generation, like don’t even, not for only young generation. For anybody, they give good platform to make money, you know. You can fight one year, you can stay busy all year and end of day, you can make money.”

He further added, “Where you can make one million dollar for one year? And for that reason, I love PFL, you know. They give very good platform for guys and I love this.”

Khaybulaev has remained undefeated and has received immense success at PFL. It would be interesting to see if the Russian fighter continues with the promotion or chooses to move on to other available promotions.

Khabib Nurmagomedov after retirement

Khabib’s presence in MMA even after retirement cannot be overlooked. He regularly attends his teammate’s fights as well as helps them train.

The Dagestani also has his own MMA promotion ‘Eagle FC’ and is busy building it. The promotion has gone international and US fans will get to see EFC’s maiden event on their shores later this month.
