Francis Ngannou has finally ended his free agency and joined the Professional Fighters League. Ngannou’s decision to leave the UFC disappointed a lot of fans, as they were anticipating a bout between ‘The Predator’ and Jon Jones. After nearly two years of negotiations, the Cameroonian-French fighter decided to quit the world’s biggest MMA promotion once and for all. He left the promotion because the UFC president, Dana White, was not ready to agree to the demands of ‘The Predator’. His demands included an increased paycheck, permission to take contracts outside the UFC, health insurance for fighters, etc. However, the promotion was not ready to agree to Ngannou’s demands.
After he quit the UFC, many strongly believed that he might turn to boxing. Nonetheless, the Cameroonian-French fighter surprised combat sports lovers by choosing MMA once again. The UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, has finally talked about Ngannou joining the PFL. The UFC superstar says he is happy for ‘The Predator’. However, he has no hope of interesting bouts coming Ngannou’s way.

I still think he should’ve came to a resolution with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Who is he gonna fight? Who is he gonna fight that’s gonna capture the general public? There’s no one.“
The Irishman further added, “There’s no matchup that I can think of that I can even say to myself that it’s gonna do big… That is commendable for sure [Ngannou’s opponents receiving minimum $2 millon] and like I said, I’m happy for him. I just don’t see a buzz on an announcement. I can’t see a name that gonna make me go [get out of my seat].”
