Muhammad Mokaev is just 24 years old and already has had an exceptional career with a record of 13 victories and 0 losses. However, it is not devoid of controversy and now he is in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. He is one of the biggest stars coming out of the promotion, but Dana White had some different plans. Ahead of his fight against Kape, Mokaev had admitted to punching ‘Starboy’ when they met at the hotel and a brawl broke out. However, the fight turned out to be in Mokaev’s favor and even though he pulled at Kape’s shorts while grappling, he won the bout. The UFC CEO was not happy about this and during the post-fight press conference, he admitted that he would not resign ‘The Punisher’.

The boss stated that the UFC does not like dealing with the 24-year-old. Since then, there have been rumours that he discussed contracts with PFL while still under UFC. However, the rumors were refuted by Mokaev.

He came on X and said, “My dream is to become UFC Champion I turn them all down because UFC gave me the platform to put my name out there and earn money to feed my family! Btw PFL doesn’t have a flyweight division All these journalists that make this s**t up are idiots! I hope Dana resigns me, this is my dream to become a champion!”

Dana White is dedicated to his craft and he despises anyone who is his competition. The UFC head honcho does not see PFL -Bellator as a competition but now the race is very close between the promotions. PFL Bellator clashed with UFC 300 and the UFC head honcho was pretty annoyed at that. He made a harsh comment saying, “You know PFLator [PFL-Bellator] was here [in Las Vegas] on Friday…I didn’t know until fu**ing Friday.”

White accused Mokaev of signing into PFL before his contract with UFC ended. He said that the young fighter tried to check on what PFL might pay him. This is why he did not want to resign Mokaev again.  White knew that Mokaev was looking for other prospects and this might have angered the boss. Now the rumour might be true but even if it is not, the fighter did confess in the past about his payments.

He confessed that he is being paid only $16000 for his fights and out of that he got roughly $5ooo for himself and the rest goes for his camp and nutrition. The fighter had said, “I’m willing to give Alex Perez $10,000 if he accepts this fight and turns up to the event! Unfortunately, my payment [is] not as high, I’m on $16,000 at the moment but I’m here to make a history!”
