It appears that Paige VanZant is now venturing into a new arena! The former UFC fighter was part of a group of 11 women the promotion had signed in 2013 to launch the strawweight division. While her UFC run ended in 2020, she then signed a lucrative seven-figure contract with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), where she reportedly still has one fight remaining on her contract. Beyond BKFC, she dabbled in professional wrestling and participated in a Misfits Boxing match.

However, during the UFC Saudi Arabia broadcast CEO Dana White disclosed that Paige Vanzant will be making her debut on June 28 at the Power Slap 8 event and will be facing Christine Wolmarans, a South African competitor. The news has made waves in the MMA world as VanZant will be the first popular UFC name to cross over to the slapping competition.
