Joe Rogan corrected himself on JRE
Joe Rogan interviewed former American representative Tulsi Gabbard on episode #1880 of JRE. During their conversation, he told her about an incident that his friend’s wife, a public school teacher, came across. According to Rogan‘s friend, his wife’s school had to install kitty litter boxes in the girls’ bathroom. The conversation went viral rather quickly.

However, the former Fear Factor host redacted his previous comments during episode #1888. The 55-year-old cleared the air during his conversation with author Michael Shermer. “I fed into that and let me — I should probably clarify that a bit,” the BJJ black belt stated.
“I have a friend and my friend’s wife is a schoolteacher, and she told him that there was discussions in the school that a mother wanted to put a litter box in one of the bathrooms… And he told me this and I talked about it on here and then people were saying, ‘That’s not true, it’s an internet rumor,’” Rogan explained.
The veteran podcast host said he tried to have the issue clarified with his friend. However, the wife did not work at that school anymore and the school did not respond to their queries on the issue.

According to Rogan, the incident happened about 10 years ago, while he was in Pittsburgh for a UFC event. He said he heard from the staff at the hotel about people who “were asking for their food to be delivered in bowls on the ground so they could eat it like animals.” Rogan added that the same people asked for a litter box in the lobby, a request that the hotel denied.
