“I Don’t Wanna Doctor, I Want a Plastic Surgeon”: Father of 3 Dana White Got Worried for His Daughter After Family Dog “Ripped Her Ear” in Half During UFC 192

People may know UFC president Dana White as a hard-hitting combat sports promoter. He is one of the busiest individuals in the sport of MMA. However, he always puts his family first. On one occasion, White heroically saved his daughter from an attack by a dog at UFC 192. The main event that night involved the battle between Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustafsson for the light heavyweight title. DC emerged victorious in that bout winning a split decision win over the Swedish fighter. Moreover, the UFC boss, Dana White, was watching the fight when he received a phone call from his wife.

Dana White had to leave the Cormier vs Gustafsson fight after receiving a phone call from his wife. She informed him that the family dog had attacked his 9-year-old daughter. His wife, Anne White, also mentioned that the dog had bitten his daughter’s ear off after she declined to give up the ice cream she was having.

The UFC president talked about the attack on his daughter in an old episode of Joe Rogan‘s podcast. He said, “When we were at the Cormier vs Gustafsson, sitting there, my phone’s f***ing ringing during the fight. And it’s my sister-in-law.”

White added, “So I pick up the phone during the fight. And my wife is on the phone going f***ing crazy.” He then reiterated what followed with the family dog and his daughter.

“We have a …2-year-old English mastiff, who jumped on my daughter and ripped her ear off her head in my house,” said Dana White. He added, “Just jumped at her …ripped her ear half this way and then off the head. So it was hanging by the bottom of the ear.” He also mentioned that his wife got hysterical, and he wasn’t able to understand what she was telling him on the phone.

Dana White proceeded to take the medical assistance of a UFC doctor to help his daughter. He said, “I grab Doc D, one of the doctors, for the UFC. He gets on the phone and calls Las Vegas. The first thing he did instead of trying to set up a doctor, he said ‘I don’t wanna doctor, I want a plastic surgeon.” Dana White claimed that he had to wait an hour and a half before the doctor arrived.

Things got better after the doctor’s arrival. “When the plastic surgeon came and put her ear back on and then fixed the ear this way, sewed it back together. My daughter’s ear looks unbelievable.”

Dana White managed to get medical attention in time for his daughter’s injury. Unfortunately, the concerned authorities put down their family dog after the horrendous incident. He even shared a story on Instagram claiming to love cats now. However, it was a close call for the UFC president’s daughter.
