Joe Rogan once spoke his mind and almost jeopardized his friendship with Brendan Schaub. Schaub, who was a UFC fighter, has switched over to comedy and has his own podcast. Over the years, he also appeared on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ several times.

However, back in 2014, Rogan made some comments that could have made Schaub unhappy. As per ‘Bleacher Report‘, the heavyweight fighter was coming off a TKO loss against Travis Browne at UFC 181. Post that, in a conversation with the MMA analyst, he had to hear some painful comments.

Rogan made statements that left Schaub stunned. While the content is not publically available, a Twitter account (@Fight_Ghost) shared quotes of some statements Rogan made.

He reportedly said, “15 minutes with an elite fighter. You can’t do that. Your brain doesn’t get better from punches. Werdum, Cain is another level than you.”

“You are a smart dude. You know about concussions you have had. The reality is, I don’t see you beating elite guys. You have no fluidity”.

However, the fighter disagreed with Rogan. The 10-5 fighter retired post his Browne bout.

Did it spoil Joe Rogan and Brendan Schaub’s friendship?

The candid conversation did not spoil Rogan and Schaub’s relationship. In fact, Rogan was honest, because he was worried about his friend. Schaub was seen on the JRE several times after this exchange.

However, ‘Rowdy’ dated Schaub before that, when she was the champion. Post her Holly Holm loss, Rousey came back after a year to face Amanda Nunes. Schaub was not happy with the narrative around her comeback fight. Hence, he expressed his thoughts back in the day.

Schaub started his pro career in 2008. He had a perfect start wherein he won four back-to-back fights with TKO. However, he experienced his first loss in 2009. During the end of his career, he experiences two losses.
