Paddy Pimblett is riding high on his recent victory over Jared Gordon at UFC 282. However, the UFC community vouched against that decision and it became a subject of controversy. Although ‘The Baddy’ is one skilled fighter, his last, questionable win has led people to mock his credibility as a fighter. And that is something Jorge Masvidal pointed out way before anyone did, in fact, soon after his second UFC fight itself.
The “Gamebred” appeared on Logan Paul‘s podcast in April and when talking about Pimblett, he expressed being unimpressed by his fighting prowess. So much so, that he found Pimblett to not be enough of a challenge for Logan Paul, too. And given the uproar surrounding Pimblett, many people may now simply agree with Masvidal‘s point of view here.

During his appearance on Logan Paul‘s podcast, Jorge Masvidal passed on some bold remarks on Paddy Pimblett. He stated that, as a character, Pimblett is interesting, but as a fighter, not so much.
The BMF said, “I think he is entertaining as f**k. I think he’s wild. But from the skill-set right now, I don’t see him being a world champion, but that could change, you know, right? But his skill set right now, I don’t think it’s at the top, where it should be right now”
Although Masvidal gave the Englishman considerable leeway, he stuck by his claims about Pimblett as a fighter. He even went on to say that, if Paul and Pimblett were to square off, the YouTuber-turned-boxer might have the final laugh.

Upon the bold remarks he passed on for Pimblett; ‘Gamebred’ was asked if Logan Paul stands a chance against ‘The Baddy’ if pitted together in the octagon. And responding to that, Masvidal sounded overly confident that Logan Paul can beat Paddy Pimblett up. He gave a pretty cultural justification for his response, too.
Masvidal stated, “Yeah. F**k yeah. He’s got the wrestling, bro. (And) English people can’t wrestle.”

That was a pretty firm statement to make there, but the BMF doesn’t hold back when he expresses his opinions. And given the current controversy surrounding Pimblett, many people might simply concur with Masvidal on this.
