The UFC Fight Night event concluded last night in the O2 Arena in London. It was the first event in the UK in three years, and it did not disappoint. The jam-packed arena was buzzing in excitement from the start to the main event. Even UFC president Dana White couldn’t help but watch in astonishment as the fighters produced a blockbuster event.
Nine out of the 12 fights on the card ended with finishes, comprising some intense strikes, cold knockouts, and fierce submissions. The finishes were so stunning that each one of them was worthy of a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus. And Dana White obliged. The UFC created history by announcing a hefty $50,000 bonus for everybody who scored a finish on the UFC London 2022 card.

In the post-fight press conference, White made the announcement, “Well, they had already done the bonuses, and they were walking me through it. And I was like f**k it… I’m in such a good mood man give everybody a bonus… and they all deserved it.”
The UFC president looked in high spirits as he said, “I mean tonight couldn’t have been a better night. You couldn’t write a better script, it couldn’t go any better than it did. The fights were awesome, everyone fought their a** off.”
The list included impressive first-round finishes from Muhammad Mokaev, Paul Craig, Sergei Pavlovich, and Makwan Amirkhani from the preliminary card. On the main card, five out of six fights ended with a finish. Ilia Topuria, Molly McCann, Paddy Pimblett, Arnold Allen, and Tom Aspinall all gave some beautiful highlight-reel finishes.

“Tonight re-energized me and reminded me of what it’s like to do fights over in the UK, man. We’re coming back this year, I don’t give a s**t what the schedule is!,” said White.
The O2 Arena had missed all the action in the past three years because of the pandemic. Indeed, that makes it even more special for the UK UFC fans to witness two live events in a year.
