West coast rap legend Snoop Dogg sat down with Joe Rogan on a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast. Snoop Dogg has become a major figure in the world of combat sports after commentary stints with Triller and Dana White’s Contender Series. Not to mention, he remains a relevant figure in the music industry, with an upcoming performance at the Super Bowl.

Snoop Dogg talked about all things fighting and entertainment in his nearly three-and-a-half-hour-long ‘JRE’ appearance. During the sit-down, the rapper had an entertaining exchange with Rogan, involving the consumption of alcoholic beverages. He revealed that he usually never drinks and listed off the select few beverages of choice.

“People know that’s watching this sh*t that I don’t drink but I’m with Joe Rogan, so fu*k yeah.”

“I [usually] drink Indigo gin and I drink 19 crimes wine or rosé. You know I’m a player Joe, I drink that sh*t that’s cool. This kinda s*it when I’m with the boys and we want to act a fool but normally I’m on some player relaxed sh*t making sure I’m in control. That brown [whiskey], brown and brown don’t mix.”

Snoop Dogg and Joe Rogan on Khabib Nurmagomedov

The aforementioned star entertainers also had a lengthy conversation about Khabib Nurmagomedov during their podcast sit down. Nurmagomedov is a name that has crossed over into the public sphere and he’s as legitimate as they come. Rogan shared his candid views on ‘The Eagle’ and anointed him as the G.O.A.T lightweight fighter, a claim Snoop Dogg didn’t dispute.

It’s clear that the GOAT debate is one that will continue for a long time between fans in the MMA community. Despite being retired for over a year, fans and fighters alike haven’t forgotten what Khabib Nurmagomedov brought to the table. He remains a staple figure in the fight game and is busy training the next stable of Russian MMA fighters.
