The noted color commentator of the UFC, Joe Rogan, missed quite a few recent UFC events. The seasoned comedian is also a podcaster apart from his association with the UFC. All these multi-directional works leave Rogan with pretty less free time to spare. Hence, he isn’t able to travel out of the US with the UFC to commentate on their international events.
Apart from his tenure with the UFC, Rogan is also famous as a noted comedian. Further, Rogan’s podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ has also bagged the supreme spot of Spotify’s ‘Top Podcasts’ multiple times. Such is the popularity of JRE. But, a lot of Rogan’s followers know that comedy was the profession that Rogan got into initially. In a recent episode of ‘JRE’, Rogan hosted his noted actor-comedian friend, Andrew Schulz. The duo talked about a volley of issues, including Rogan’s efforts to bring up new talents in the field of comedy.

The comedian duo of Schulz and Rogan went on a trip down memory lane as they remembered their early days in comedy. They also spoke about how they had been through some memorable journeys before they made it big.
However, Rogan didn’t want to mention how much he gets paid for his comedy gigs. Further, he also spoke about how he took charge of the ‘Mothership club’ where he brought up numerous artists who wanted to perform.
‘The JRE host’ stated, “The whole idea is to make the best possible place for standups to perform”. Rogan’s guest, Schulz, was already appreciative of him for his selfless efforts toward the improvement of the comedy scene.

He also appreciated this move by Rogan stating, “What Joe is trying to say is the whole idea is for him to make no money. It’s for comedians to make all the goddamn money”.
Well, a lot might agree that through this new venture, Rogan wants to improve the comedy scene by giving artists a safe space to express their comedic chops. The idea of profiteering was the furthest thing from Rogan’s mind.

A good deal of fans may say that Rogan somewhere accepted Schulz’s points. He really didn’t care about making money from his initiatives to bring up talented comedians.

Rogan himself clarified his stance, stating, “Look my only goal is that the club break even. I don’t care if it makes money, I make a lot a month. I don’t worry about money”.
‘The former Fear Factor host’s financial security is quite evident as he reaps the rewards of being a successful podcaster and UFC commentator.. He further stated, “I look at what could be the best-case scenario”.
