Something that even she knew. So, with the promotion’s Bantamweight title around her waist, she called out team Dana White for a contract.

In a video addressed to UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard and UFC CEO Dana White, the 19-year-old asked them to bring her to the promotion. She said, “Micki, six fights, six wins. Look at me; I deserve it. I promise you all.” Now, as a Christmas gift to fans as well as Alice Pereira, the UFC head honcho has announced the signing for the Brazilian fighter.

Since then, Alice Pereira has been on a roll and even defeated the former ONE Championship title contender Samara Santos on December 14. Well, it surely is exciting to see White identifying talent and giving them a spot. But can singing her and uploading a story be a part of his marketing for an upcoming UFC event?

In recent years, the UFC’s favorite destinations in the country have been Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. However, other cities such as Brasilia, Curitiba, and Fortaleza are also emerging as candidates, as they also hosted the company’s cards in the past. Another mystery not revealed by Dana was the type of event that will be promoted: a numbered show with ‘PPV’ and an in-play or unnumbered title fight, the so-called ‘Fight Night,’ with no title fights planned.

With this new and exciting Brazilian signing, fans are sure to tune in to see their fellow citizen defend the honor of their country in the Octagon.
