“I Could Never Have Imagined…”- Joe Rogan Gets Candid About People Getting Tattoos of His Face

After the success of the Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan is now a multi-millionaire and a global celebrity. His popularity skyrocketed over the course of his different career ventures. In fact, the 55-year-old is so popular that people get tattoos of his face on them.

In addition to being the millionaire host of arguably the world’s number-one podcast, Rogan is a stand-up comic, former host of Fear Factor and a UFC commentator. Recently, Rogan commented on people getting his face tattooed on them.

Joe Rogan reveals thoughts on people getting his face tattooed on them

Over the years, Rogan has amassed a large fan following. From his time as a Fear Factor host to his energetic and animated commentary for the UFC, Rogan’s popularity kept growing. However, it was his work on JRE that catapulted his stardom.

An ardent mixed martial arts practitioner and BJJ black belt, Rogan is also an avid fitness enthusiast. His typical animated style of presentation has a fan following of its own. Rogan’s expressive faces from the UFC commentary table, JRE, and his social media are popular on the internet and often used to make memes.

Over time, people also began getting tattoos of Rogan’s face. Rogan recently shared his thoughts on one such tattoo.

In the caption Rogan wrote, “I’m oddly comfortable with the bizarrely huge number of people with my face permanently etched on their body. That’s something I could have never imagined would be “normal” to me, but here we are…” It should not come as a surprise that Rogan now finds this normal. Especially considering there are plenty of people with a Joe Rogan face tattoo out there.

However, this statement is rather different from what Rogan said about the same subject a few years ago.

What Rogan said about his people tattooing his face on them in 2019:

During an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience in 2019, Rogan had a different perspective on people getting tattoos of his face. Rogan was discussing tattoos with his guests. Commenting on the work of a talented artist, Rogan mentioned he had inked Rogan’s face on people. One of the guests asked Rogan how he felt about that.

“So weird. Don’t do that. Don’t do that… Just stop,” he said. Talking about why people do it, he said, “I get it. You know it’s like we don’t want the responsibility. We wanna do it but we don’t want the responsibility.”

Rogan has previously shared many interesting pictures of such tattoos on his social media. He even framed one of those as artwork for his studio.
