Blood, cuts, and gore is a part of every MMA fighter?s life. While some might get squeamish even at the sight of it, our octagon warriors go through the pain in almost every match of their careers. But sometimes, even they find it tough to bear it all.

And one such fighter is Marcos Rogerio de Lima, who recently revealed in an interview how he is suffering through the ?trauma? of an ongoing injury and instead of being bombarded with emails and messages of support, he is being ?bothered? instead.

At UFC 291, a short yet spectacular showdown ensued between Derrick Lewis and Marcos Rogerio de Lima. The two heavyweights went in to battle it out in what was to be a treat for UFC fans and 33 seconds in, came the knockout blow.

Derrick Lewis landed a flying knee perfectly to bring the match to a conclusion in less than a minute and post the KO Marcos Rogerio De Lima was left to fight a new battle now, and that was to face his fans. The Brazilian told in an interview how instead of showing support to him after the humiliating 33-second loss, the fans are messaging him remarks that are actually bothersome in nature.

?Now, there?s a lot of people sending me messages, e-mails. I?ve never received that many messages. I lost one fight and instead of supporting me, people from my country, my fans, are bothering me.?

He continued to state how he is in pain not just emotionally, but the hard blow to his face actually left him with a grizzly aftermath. ?I took a hard knee. My teeth are all loose. I can?t eat properly. It?s a hard moment.?
