Jon Jones is one of the biggest attractions in MMA. Many people witnessed his return to the octagon against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285, including famous athletes from other sports, and even movie stars. However, MMA fans want to see Jon Jones take on Francis Ngannou in a heavyweight clash of the ages. But Bones’ business representative has offered to help make this fight happen.
Francis Ngannou left the UFC after both parties couldn’t come to an agreement to renew ‘The Predator’s contract. Rumors suggest that the new UFC contract could have made the French-Cameroonian fighter the highest-earning heavyweight in the company. However, he wanted more freedom to pursue fights outside of the UFC.
Many wanted to see Jones clash with Ngannou. However, the latter parted ways with the promotion, which diminished the possibility of a fight between the two heavyweight fighters. But Richard Schaefer, who serves as the business representative for Jon Jones, envisions this fight taking place in the future.

Schaefer believes that the Jones vs Ngannou fight can take place even after Dana White stated that there is no chance that the former heavyweight champ is coming back. The representative highlighted the fact that there is a huge monetary benefit for the parties involved if the fight takes place. He said, “If it makes sense for UFC from a financial point of view, I think they’ll be open to do that fight.”

Schaefer claims to have a good relationship with the people Ngannou is associated with. That can help to make the fight. He said, “This is now something which I can help, because I do have a nice relationship with people with Francis.” Schaefer added he would be happy to get both sides on the same page.
