During the UFC 292 media scrum, Michael Chandler shared his thoughts on several topics surrounding the fight. Chandler has highlighted that he isn’t concerned about Conor McGregor’s USADA status ahead of their potential fight.
Chandler, during the media scrum, addressed McGregor’s USADA situation and stated, “I signed with the [UFC) September of 2020, and I could’ve fought October of 2020.”

With a hint of annoyance, Chandler challenged the prevalent notion, saying, “So this whole he retired, so he’s got to take six months to come back, are we splitting hairs here? What are we talking about?”
Highlighting his willingness to fight the Irishman ASAP, he said, “I can fight Conor with one day in the USADA testing pool or a year in the USADA testing pool, it’s not going to make a difference.”

Meanwhile, adding another twist to the storyline, UFC president Dana White has shared a timeline for the potential fight between Mcgregor and Chandler.
Making an appearance on the Crain & Company show, Dana mentioned that the UFC is working on the fight. Providing some clarity to the fans, Dana stated that he hopes to schedule this bout in early 2024.
