“I Can Beat Him”- After Enraging Jon Jones, Tom Aspinall Doubles Down on His Bold Prediction for Fight Against UFC Champ

The drama between Heavyweight titans Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall keeps intensifying. Thanks to both fighters’ bold dispositions, even the smallest of sparks lead to a wildfire of arguments and feuds. 

Ever since Aspinall’s recent dominating win over Marcin Tybura at the UFC London event, the collision course for him and Jones seems to have accelerated. The Brit Heavyweight took his beef with Jones to the next level and enraged him, after calling out the #1 Pound-for-pound fighter for a clash. 

Moreover, thanks to UFC Hall-of-Famer Michael Bisping’s latest “insane” prediction of a potential bout between the duo, things have heated up quite alarmingly. Now, doubling down on his earlier tweets, Aspinall has shared yet another bold proclamation for Jones.

Tom Aspinall has doubled down on his bold claims about facing Jon Jones

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the British Heavyweight sat down with interviewer and journalist Nik Hobbs. The duo delve into the discussion, and Hobbs brought up Aspinall’s ongoing feud with ‘Bones.’

Highlighting Bisping’s recent suggestions of Aspinall’s superiority, Hobbs questioned, “What do you make of those comments from the Count?”

He acknowledged that Bisping’s statements may have sparked criticism but stood by his own confidence in his abilities. He then furthered his supremacy in MMA, declaring, “I definitely am capable of doing that to Jon Jones. I’m capable of doing that to anybody, but whether I will or not – I don’t know.”

Despite his unwavering belief in his capabilities, Aspinall acknowledges the challenge that lies ahead. In the same vein, he added, “Jon Jones is one of the greatest of all time, but I’m definitely confident I can beat him.”

He admits uncertainty about the ease of victory over Jones, saying, “Whether I can beat him with that much ease – I don’t know. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens.”

Aspinall’s confidence in his abilities is unparalleled. He deems himself one of the most skilled heavyweights in the division. The Brit asserted that he operates on levels above his competitors in the heavyweight category. He concluded the interview with a bold proclamation:

“I feel like I’m one of the most skilled heavyweights ever, and I feel like I’m also two speeds above everybody else. I’m doing stuff that people can’t even see at Heavyweight. So, I’m definitely capable of doing it – but whether it’ll play out like that or not – who knows.”
