Former UFC two-division champion Georges St-Pierre is very upset. He has expressed his angst after a city bus rammed into a children’s daycare center in Montreal, Canada. GSP is a Canadian and was deeply affected by the unfortunate incident. The crash has left two children dead and 6 injured. Canada has been stunned by the incident that took place on Thursday morning. The driver of the vehicle has been apprehended and is charged with murder. The news created panic in parents who rushed to the daycare to look for their children.

Eyewitnesses have hinted at the incident being an intentional deed. If that comes out to be true, Georges St-Pierre‘s comment on the incident will hold a lot of relevance. The accident becomes graver considering the bus crashed into a building that was having a large no. of children housed in it.

Georges St-Pierre condemns the gruesome incident

In an Instagram story where Georges St-Pierre shared a screenshot of a report published in the Montreal Gazette. He wrote a caption on it that read, I believe in second chance in life but there are crimes that are unforgivable.”

The UFC superstar had a very tough stance on the incident and wanted severe punishment for the driver involved in the gruesome incident. Reports have quoted an eyewitness who said felt the act was willful. The eyewitness explained, the driver came out of the bus after the crash and took all his clothes off.

Eyewitness hints at the incident being intentional

Eyewitness Hamdi Ben Chaabne said that the driver came out of the bus and started yelling. He took off his clothes and was hysterical. Ben Chaabne and other neighbors subdued the driver and later the driver was arrested by the police. According to the eyewitness, the city bus driver was “in another world“.

Automobile crashes are always unfortunate. They become worse when it involves innocent children. The city of Montreal will mourn the loss of two young prospects who were yet to see the world. The parents will need support from the community and justice in these difficult times.
