Joe Rogan is struggling with his new voice. The fans who are used to his iconic voice at the UFC PPV events, and his popular podcast, and burst out laughing at his jokes, might have to make peace with his altered voice. The reason is intriguing as the UFC commentator finally decided to fix a minor issue with a cosmetic procedure he went through. However, the only caveat is his voice now sounds “f*cked up”.

The 55-year-old recently sat down with Tony Woods at Ep.#2011 of The Joe Rogan Experience. After an amusing discussion about the Navy and his unusual take on the super soldiers running on PEDs, he kicked the brakes on the conversation. He turned to Young Jamie, and asked, “Does my voice sound f*cked up? Does it sound like I’m lisping a little bit? It does, right?”

The color commentator disclosed the reason and stated he had put on an Invisalign. The standup comic was getting his teeth straightened out! Invisalign is an alternative to braces and has an average cost of $3000 to $5000.

When his guest asked to have a look, the comedian gave him a kid-like grin. However, Rogan struggled with his speech as his tongue struggled to adjust to a new piece of plastic in his mouth. The famed podcaster reflected, “This is the first day I’ve had it on now. So my question is, do I try to work through this? Because they say that eventually, your tongue figures out how to talk.”

While Young Jamie pointed out how it didn’t sound weird, the famed TV presenter mentioned he was getting used to it. Further elaborating on his difficulty adjusting to his speech, he stated, “It’s like your tongue has to, even though it’s a tiniest little amount of plastic, your tongue has to figure out where that is and then it has to kind of like pull back a little bit.”

Likewise, the former Fear Factor host declared, “I’m not going to wear it on stage. That would be f*cked. Impossible.” The host also announced he did sound a little different and sought apologies for annoying anyone. However, he remained positive about figuring out his way.

Rogan is confident about working his way out

He then zealously put, “I’m gonna figure this out. I’m gonna figure this out, Tony.”

Later on, Rogan detailed the reason for his cosmetic change- his crooked lower teeth. And as a result “sh*t gets stuck in them”. His dentist advised him about Invisalign instead of braces, which would take over a year to fix them.
