Fans are aware that Halle Berry loves MMA. In fact, her presence at UFC 268 created a lot of excitement among the audience. She squared off Rose Namajunas and Zhang Weili. Namajunas won the bout and interestingly Berry put the belt on her.

The actress had attended the event to promote her movie ‘Bruised’. UFC fighter Valentina Shevchenko, too, is a part of the movie. Thus, MMA and UFC fans must have surely seen and loved the movie because it has been doing great. The movie became one of the highly watched movies in the US. Similarly, the movie was in second place for the most-watched films worldwide.

As a result of such a great response to Berry’s work, Netflix signed a multi-picture deal with the actress. She will now star as well as produce movies for the platform. Her directorial debut was well-received by the audience and this must have caused her great joy. In fact, she celebrated the news by doing a short dance. Yet again, she has managed to come up with something incredible.

Halle Berry’s love for combat sports

Berry loves combat sports, and it seems this passion inspired her to direct a film of such a kind. She has starred in several action movies in the past and most of them were liked by the audience. With ‘Bruised’ receiving such an overwhelming response, there is a chance that the actress might star in more such movies.

It would be interesting to see what kind of movies Berry chooses and the kind of novelty she adds to them.

Berry has been following boxing and UFC for a long time. While fans would love to see more movies like ‘Bruised’, she already has a few projects on the line. She will soon be seen in ‘The Mothership’ and ‘Our Man From Jersey’.
