Michael Chandler is one of the most exciting lightweight fighters in the division right now. However, he may have to move his weight class thanks to Conor McGregor‘s challenge of fighting at middleweight instead. With all the heat building up to the fight, obviously, there are a lot of questions for Chandler.
So to have a conversation about all of them, he sat down for an interview with Bussin’ With The Boys. He discussed his next fight with McGregor and the way things might work out for him finally. Then, he opened up about Campbell and his role in the UFC.
“You see Hunter’s name being thrown around a little bit more,” said Chandler. “Hunter handled some of the kind of USADA announcement and all that stuff because he’s a lawyer for the UFC but yeah I mean I do a lot of my stuff directly with Hunter there’s a lot of big-name fighters that you all know that go do a lot of stuff directly with Hunter.”
Chandler then continued by emphasizing that even though Dana White is the man who runs the show for everyone’s eyes, he can’t do it all by himself. Even the head honcho needs his generals to do his bidding. “He has continued to take on more and more and more as the UFC has grown like exponentially right. Dana can’t handle it all.”
