Is Trump's claim that elections are bigger than the Super Bowl a bold truth or mere exaggeration?

Joe Rogan’s most recent sit-down chat with Donald Trump could very well go down as the most historically significant episode of the show. It marked the first time that a former president made his appearance on the famed podcast. And the fact that it happened after Rogan had previously declared he would never host Trump on the program adds to its significance. Although Trump has been on dozens of similar podcasts aimed at men in the last year, Rogan’s show surely has the most listeners.

On the show, the two discussed a variety of topics, whether it be the policies being offered by the parties or the existence of aliens. However, one moment that truly caught the attention of listeners was when Donald Trump made two major claims. The first claim made by the former president was that the US elections are ever bigger than the Super Bowl. The second claim made by the Republican candidate was that he hasn’t taken a day off in almost two months!

Speaking on the podcast, Trump revealed that he takes the election very seriously. To him, it is such a big deal that it seems to be a hundred times bigger than the Super Bowl. But why? Well, that’s because it decides the fate of over three hundred forty-six million US citizens with just two candidates to offer. He said, “You know, I view it very interestingly. I’m running for president of the United States. To me, it’s such a big deal; it’s so important. It’s a hundred times bigger than the Super Bowl, and it’s one person. Yeah, so you’re down to two people. It’s the biggest thing in the world.”

What was even more impressive was how he revealed to Joe Rogan that due to the importance of the elections, he had not taken a day off in about two months. Donald Trump claims that he is having more fun and feeling more excitement every day by not taking a day off. Trump said of JRE #2219, “I haven’t taken a day off in 56 days. That’s a long time. I haven’t taken one day off. I don’t want to play golf. This is too exciting. Golf is great, but this is too exciting. This is more exciting than anything you can do. It’s the home stretch; who would take a day off? So we have 11 days left now, and think of it. So I think I’ve gone 54, 55 days in a row, no days off.”

It surely looks like Donald Trump is enjoying every bit of the elections. But why did Trump decide to mention the fact that he hasn’t taken a day off? Well, that’s because several people are questioning the cognitive abilities of the former President of the United States. Something that led him to talk about not taking a few days off during an election rally a few days ago as well.

Have an interesting take?

The Republican candidate became a topic of discussion a few nights ago when several reports hit the internet about the presidential candidate being cognitively impaired. There were several claims about Donald Trump turning down interviews because of the same. Clips where the ex-POTUS appeared to be nodding off during campaign events didn’t help his case either.

However, Trump debunked the claims during an election rally in North Carolina. The 78-year-old explained that he was just a little tired and had no major issues. He said, “I do this stuff, five, six, seven times a day for 52 days without a break.” However, he further emphasized not taking a break as he wanted to win the election. “I don’t want a day off. We have to win.”

The former POTUS also bashed the media for trying to sow the seeds of doubt about such claims. He said, “So I speak for hours, mostly without a teleprompter, really, mostly. One mispronunciation of a word — ‘He’s cognitively impaired. He’s getting old, he’s getting old. He mispronounced a word like the name of the gang.’ If I did. You know, I think I got it perfectly, didn’t I?”

Trump also took shots at Kamala Harris over the same asking to have her cognitive abilities tested. He even appealed to Rogan on similar lines, labeling the JRE host ‘ a Khabib [Nurmagomedov] person’ and not ‘a Kamala Harris person.’

Well, it surely looks like Donald Trump is going all-in for the 2024 election. Just days before we finally get to witness the true action on Election Day, it would be interesting to see if Trump manages to go through all the campaign dates without a single day off.
