Since starting his podcast more than a decade ago, Joe Rogan has grown himself, and his show into a global brand. Platforms are lining up to snatch ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ as his mammoth contract with Spotify is reportedly drawing to a close. The $200 million worth deal signed in 2020 was for 3.5 years. This means that the most popular Spotify podcast could be up for grabs in the near future. As these rumors grow strong, Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski has stated his interest in signing Joe Rogan.
Rogan has amassed a huge following with his work on JRE. The podcast averages 11 million listeners per episode and has hosted over 1000 guests in 13 years. The 55-year-old still makes headlines by hosting personalities from a variety of fields including politics, science, sports, and entertainment. This is partly the reason why Rumble and other platforms would jump at the chance to sign Rogan. Interestingly, this is not the first time Rumble has shown interest in Rogan either.

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski recently gave an interview where he declared his interest in signing Joe Rogan. He acknowledged Rogan’s Spotify exclusive contract but kept the door open to Rogan for a future partnership.
Pavlovski said, “He’s with Spotify exclusively, but we very much look forward to working with Joe Rogan in the future if he wishes. We would be interested in putting forth an offer when that time comes.”
Back when Rogan and his podcast were facing backlash for allegedly spreading misinformation, Rumble stepped up and offered a $100 million deal which the BJJ black belt turned down. Eventually, Rogan had the support of Spotify CEO Daniel Ek, and the pair continued their partnership.
“If he ever wants to come to Rumble, we’re open to negotiating with him and putting forth an offer. I’m a big fan of Joe Rogan and I would love to have him on Rumble,” added Pavlovski.
After some recent developments, it looks like Rumble might get a chance to tempt Rogan to drop the streaming giants and join the home of Power Slap.

According to recent reports, Spotify recorded a net loss of nearly a quarter billion dollars in the first quarter of 2023. In light of these numbers, Daniel Ek announced that they would stop overpaying podcasters and acknowledged that it was a practice in the company.
This could mean that the likes of Rogan and Michelle Obama might not get the lucrative deals they got before. With Spotify set to drop its extravagant ways, will Rogan move to greener pastures? Can Rumble make him an offer he can’t refuse?
